Sai Gon Ha long Hotel - Very nice and comfortable

Good location, decent room. The hotel staff are polite and did their job well even thought they were not too warm. While I was waiting for check-in, a staff brought me a cup of water, which was very nice. The room is clean and spacious. The restaurant was kind of empty but the service and food is not bad. On the whole, this is a decent hotel.

View. The hotel is very nice, but very far from the market and shops, it's about a 20min walk if you don't mind walking its ok. and i love to walk so it was good for me. the room was very big, clean and the view was awesome. staff had alway smiled and was very friendly. the food was great lots to chose from. this is a nice hotel. only bad thing it's far from everything.
Nightlife Tip: No night life.

Big but old hotel

Very nice location. The location of the hotel is really good, you must pay a little extra for the sea view, where you can see the halong bay. The hotel locate in between the wharf and the night market, however I recommend you to take a taxi as the cost is not much. The hotel massage is a very dissappointment for me, this is the worst massage that I had. The internet is very bad, I can get the wifi in my room and need to go to the lobby to access the internet. Overall, this is good for seaview, other than this, nothing.

Very nice and comfortable

The room is nice and with LCD tv. The reception is ffriendly and helpful. The size of the room is not very small nor very big. Comfortable for a couple.

Great views if you dont get the mountain view room

good location. Very nice rooms, a good choice for breakfast, and good aircon. the staff are ok, not the friendliest. you can book a private junk to go around the islands, through the hotel. $25 an hour, per boat, not person. we had one for 6 hours and it was fantastic. be careful as you go to depart as the captian will try to get other so called"family" to come along too, on the boat you have paid for, the choice is yours, but we said no, and were glad we did, even though we felt a little guilty. if not on a tight budget, we recomend eating in the evening in the novotel, 3 hotels down the road. they offer an all you can eat buffet for $25 plus tax each, from 1830-2130. the food is fantastic with a huge choice of freshly cooked food. for the first hour you can drink for free too, certain beer,wine, coke and water. it is the best on saturday night, where it is outside, next to a pool, with BBQ and live music, the staff are really good too, friendly, and proffesional.
