ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement for Tourism Professionals
A conference on the implementation of the revised Viet Nam Tourism Occupational Standards (VTOs) with the aim of upgrading the standard and quality of human resources in Viet Nam’s tourism industry in the line with the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement for Tourism Professionals will take place in Hanoi on December 3rd.

The event is co-organized by the EU delegation, ESRT programme, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training.

By clarifying and explaining procedures and processes, through discussion and exchange of know-how, the conference aims to improve the relevance and effectiveness of the VTOs as well as to build apprenticeship partnership models between the public and private tourism sector, for practical application of VTOs.

The event will feature high-profile and leading experts in their prospective field. They are supported by parallel activities, such as presentations, panel discussions and separate working group sessions.

The audience will include large international and domestic enterprises active in tourism and hospitality in Viet Nam and ASEAN, who have sufficient capacity and economy of scale to effectively develop, integrate and apply the revised VTOs./.
